THE BREASTFEEDING SPECIALIST COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR IBLCE CANDIDATES
Deborah Robertson’s Breastfeeding Specialist Course schedule is specifically timed to suit potential candidates for the IBLCE exam for aspiring lactation consultants, held twice a year in the spring and the autumn.
Participants will have earned the minimum 90 breastfeeding education hour certificates required in time to meet the exam entry deadline. The course will continue beyond that to complete the coverage of the Detailed Content Outline (syllabus), culminating in a mock exam.
The entire course is taught by Deborah Robertson IBCLC, whose Breastfeeding Specialist Study Days have helped many to pass the IBLCE exam to become qualified as Lactation Consultants.

There you can download the current CANDIDATE INFORMATION GUIDE for full details of the exam syllabus etc and details of the revised eligibility criteria. Since 2012 the education requirement has doubled to a minimum of a 90 hours pre-exam lactation course. Those candidates who are not already accredited / licensed health care professional are also required to hold extra health science education requirements in a range of allied subjects.
